Halibut Fishing

The Diamond Cape is the boat for you if you are looking for great halibut fishing. An experienced captain, all of our fishing gear, fish filleting, a wide deck, speed and comfort along with a warm cabin and bathroom provide a great fishing experience. Halibut fishing is sure to show you lots of action and make your arm weary. Diamond Cape charters now owned by Homer Ocean Charters is a legally permitted fishing charter and has been locally owned and operated since 2024. You will find fishing on the Diamond Cape or any of our other boats an experience you will want to repeat over and over again.

You are allowed two halibut per day with one fish of any size and a second fish 28 inches or less. The annual bag limit for charter caught halibut is 4fish. There is no halibut fishing on Wednesdays instead you can join us for salmon, rock fish and or lingcod fishing.

We will provide all of your fishing gear and fillet your fish for you. Once your fish is caught and filleted we will get it to a processor for you. You may have your fish vacuum packed, frozen and boxed ready for you to pick up or have it sent FedEX to your home when you return.
